Today's
photos are from Petra Williams, "On a Friday evening, just as spring was
starting up here, my husband and I went to the New York Botanical Garden in the
Bronx to see their Orchid Show called Chandeliers. In addition seeing
all those gorgeous orchids beautifully placed in The Enid A. Haupt Conservatory,
the price of admission included a glass of wine. Quite the nice evening. On the
way to the Conservatory, there were a few trees that caught my eye, one of the
largest star magnolias that I’ve seen in full bloom, and a paperbark maple that
didn’t have a leaf, but what a trunk! I also got some pictures of the
Conservatory at sunset. It is such a lovely building." Gorgeous, Petra! I
love NYBG.
