Photos are
from Patricia Hand in upstate New York. It's packed full of color during
summer! As she proves today, it's wonderful in winter, too. She says, "These
are photos I took of the landscape here in upstate New York on December 30th.
The ground was bare here since before Christmas, with temperatures in the
mid-50's. When I awoke that morning I found that Mother Nature had worked her
magic overnight and provided us with a white fluffy blanket of snow. I grabbed
my camera and out I went to capture this beautiful sight." Pat, your
garden is still beautiful, even under all that snow! This just goes to show
that it pays to include plants for winter interest amongst the summer
showstoppers.
